Shipping policy

Shipping is not available for any meat products. Customers are given the option to pick-up at Lazy SV Ranch or delivery in Debden, Big River, Prince Albert, Saskatoon and North Battleford. Consideration will be given to delivery at points between our ranch and any of these delivery locations. At checkout, chose the nearest delivery location and make a note on the order of your exact location. We will contact the customer for more details. A delivery fee may be charged for delivery locations over 10 km off our regular delivery routes.

All of our beef is cut, wrapped and smoked at a local, provincially inspected butcher shop. Product sizes will vary based on the size of the animal harvested. In the interest of making the customer’s buying experience in our online store as user friendly as possible, we have chosen to list product sizes for each cut as an average weight. To make sure customers are getting exactly what they pay for, each product is weighed prior to packing. As such, the final price at delivery may differ slightly from the checkout total. We try our best to keep it as close as possible to the checkout total, but a customer may receive a small refund or have a small charge added at pick-up or delivery. We will communicate any changes in the total prior to delivery.

The product description will include the price/lb. Package prices listed on the website are based on average package sizes for our products. We aim to maximize yield from our animals at harvest time and will not cut to a specific weight. For example, if a customer is looking for a 10 ounce rib steak, we will not provide a steak that is exactly 10 ounces because this generates unnecessary trim waste at our butcher. The average package size for rib steaks is 1.4lbs and there are 2 similar sized steaks per package, so each steak is approximately 11 ounces. If you are looking for a specific weight, make a note on your order and we will attempt to accommodate based on the inventory we have on hand.
